American Chemical
Society Undergraduate Student Affiliates
Welcome to a new and exciting year! Get into gear for the semester by taking advantage of the upcoming activities sponsored by the USC American Chemical Society Student Affiliates.
The primary objective of the American Chemical Society Student Affiliates program at the University of South Carolina is to support undergraduate chemistry majors and their faculty by promoting
professional development, mentoring, and by providing peer-support mechanisms. Membership in the Student Affiliates program:
provides networking with other students, professors, and outstanding members of the community;
puts you in contact with ongoing research programs in the University;
offers seminars designed with the undergraduate in mind that are packed with information on jobs and careers in science.
To join, simply attend one of the meetings,
or call one of the club officers. There
are no dues to be a member of our campus
organization.
This ACS student organization is open to
all undergraduates who are majoring in a
science or engineering field, as we encourage
diversity among disciplines. Not only do
ACS members benefit from the activities
in which the society engages and keep in
touch with the current events in the field,
they also find many opportunities to meet
new people that share similar interests.
